Terms & conditions

  1. Definitions

In the terms and conditions the following definitions will be used:

A. The Ghana Traveller: located at Nes 82, Wervershoof, The Netherlands. Registrated in The Netherlands at the Chamber of Commerce (number 71315780)

B. Consumer: the natural person who does not act in the exercise of profession or business and enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur

C. Right of withdrawal: the possibility for the consumer to withdraw from the distance contract within the cooling-off period

 

  1. Purchase agreement

A. These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, quotations, legal relationships and agreements of and / or with The Ghana Traveller e-books

B. By placing an order, the consumer indicates that he agrees to the terms and conditions

C. Upon purchase, the consumer agrees that all contents of the e-books are copyrighted. texts, photographs, prints and illustrations may not be duplicated, copied, or republished anywhere. For this, written permission must be requested via jennifer@theghanatraveller.com

D. An order is placed as soon as the payment is completed by the consumer

E. All offers and / or offers made by The Ghana Traveller are without obligation, unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing by The Ghana Traveller

F. Offers and / or quotations from The Ghana Traveller do not automatically apply to repeat orders

G. The Ghana Traveller reserves the right to correct obvious mistakes and / or misprints in offers and / or offers. No liability is accepted for the consequences of errors

H. Additional (oral) agreements and / or promises made by or on behalf of The Ghana Traveller are only binding if expressly confirmed in writing by The Ghana Traveller

I. The Ghana Traveller has the right to amend and / or supplement these general terms and conditions

J. Before the distance contract is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the consumer. If this is not reasonably possible, before the distance contract is concluded, it will be indicated that the general terms and conditions can be viewed by the entrepreneur and they will be sent free of charge as soon as possible at the request of the consumer

K. Situations that are not regulated in these general conditions must be assessed as general conditions

L. If the agreement is concluded electronically, the entrepreneur will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure the electronic transfer of data and he will ensure a secure web environment. If the consumer can pay electronically, the entrepreneur will observe appropriate security measures

M. Only Dutch law applies to agreements between The Ghana Traveller and the consumer to which these general terms and conditions apply. Even if the consumer lives abroad

N. The consumer agrees that the forwarding of digital files (the e-mails, the links in the e-mails and the files themselves) is not permitted and that this is checked

 

  1. Withdrawal agreement

A. The right of withdrawal does not apply to e-books

B. When purchasing other products, the consumer has the option to dissolve the agreement without giving any reason for 30 days. This cooling-off period starts on the day after the consumer receives the product

C. During the reflection period, the consumer will handle the product and packaging carefully. He will only unpack or use the product to the extent that this is necessary to assess whether he wishes to keep the product. If he makes use of his right of withdrawal, he will return the product with all accessories and – if reasonably possible – in the original condition and packaging to the entrepreneur, in accordance with the instructions provided by the entrepreneur. When there is fraud, The Ghana Traveller reserves the right to refuse a return shipment in its entirety and to return it at the expense of the entrepreneur

D. If the consumer wishes to make use of his right of withdrawal, he is obliged to make this known to the entrepreneur within 30 days after receipt of the product. The consumer must do so by sending an e-mail to jennifer@theghanatraveller.com. After the consumer has made it known that he wishes to make use of his right of withdrawal, the customer must return the product within 14 days. The consumer must prove that the delivered goods have been returned in time, for example by means of a proof of shipment. If the customer has not made it known that he wishes to make use of his right of withdrawal or his right of withdrawal after expiry of the terms stated in paragraphs 2 and 4. the product has not been returned to the entrepreneur, the sale is a fact

 

  1. Payment

A. The prices mentioned in the offer of products or services include VAT

B. All quoted prices are exclusive of delivery or delivery costs, unless otherwise agreed in writing. For digital products, shipping or delivery costs are not applicable

C. All prices are subject to printing and typing errors. No liability is accepted for the consequences of printing and typing errors. In the case of printing and typing errors, the entrepreneur is not obliged to deliver the product at the wrong price

 

  1. The offer

A. If an offer has a limited period of validity or is subject to conditions, this will be explicitly stated in the offer. The offer is without obligation. The Ghana Traveller is entitled to change and adjust the offer

B. The offer contains a complete and accurate description of the offered products and / or services. The description is sufficiently detailed to allow a proper assessment of the offer by the consumer. If the The Ghana Traveller uses images, these are a true reflection of the offered products and / or services. Obvious mistakes or obvious errors in the offer do not bind the entrepreneur

C. All images, specifications and data in the offer are indicative and can’t be a reason for compensation or dissolution of the agreement. Images for products are a true reflection of the products offered. The Ghana Traveller can’t guarantee that the displayed colours exactly match the real colours of the products

 

 

  1. Complaints

A. Complaints can be sent via jennifer@theghanatraveller.com

B. Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted fully and clearly described to The Ghana Traveller within 14 days, after the consumer has discovered the defects

C. Complaints submitted to The Ghana Traveller will be answered within a period of 14 days from the date of receipt. If a complaint requires a foreseeable longer processing time, The Ghana Traveller will respond within the period of 14 days with a notice of receipt and an indication when the consumer can expect a more detailed answer
